Need Some Help
So I got some goods for Xmas. One being a Infiniti Perfect 10" sub, the second being a off-brand 800 watt amp. So I have all of the parts needed, including the LOC. I've wired the LOC to the speaker wires in the door pillar (since my old setup, a bazooka, has been set up through here), and with this I get little to no bass. Then I realized that the amp has a high in input, so I use those sliced wires (from the door pillars), and got no bass. I'm not used to this LOC converter so I'm not entirely sure to what the hell I'm doing. All power and grounds are good, and my amp lights up so its getting power, I have got good 12 guage wire going to the sub from the amp. So I'm sure it is just a question of getting a signal to the amp. The LOC has three sets of wires. A left and right, and then another set for ????? do I need to use these. I've done a few stereo installs in the past but they were usually with after-market HU so this LOC is new to me. All advise is welcome.
I have read through the boards and used search as well so please don't lecture.
Thanks Guys

why not read what the wires do? i used a LOC and placed it directly behind the headunit so when i replace the headunit, i can remove the LOC and my RCA's are already run from the back of the headunit to the subwoofer in the trunk. My LOC had 2 wires, i tapped them to the front speaker leads on the back of the headunit, and also had 1 ground wire for a common ground. It sounds like ur not grounding the proper wire to get the signal sent to the subwoofer.
the LOC I had purchased came with no directions, but I was kind of guessing that the third set of wires had to do with power so I just need to ground them? I'll try this and let you know what happens.
You may have wired the LOC out of polarity, Your left channel would be ried correctly + to+ - to - but the other side is wired -to+ and +to- This would cause the signals to cancel each other and basically give you little to no sound.
If that isn't the case, Post what amp you have specifically and I can help ya out a little better
