the eD woofers will fit.. you need just a hammer and a 1" spacer. The factory speaker holes need to be "massaged" a little bigger and you need to cut the protruding plastic from the door card as well so as not to damage your speakers surround.

Havent taken any pics yet but i got my tint on Monday. Had to pay them cash and they hooked me up with 35% on the driver and pass door (stupid Texas law says all windows on the side of a car can be no more than 35%) and limo on all the rest of the windows. Worst part about it is i get no warrenty on it cause its "illegal"... *sigh* looks good though!

gofastredfit,
I think I added about 50lbs, honestly not sure. I can't really compare before and after except for road noise. I drove the car around a lot when it was half way done, and the car is a lot faster with nothing in the car except the front seats.

Injundon,
The Tang Bands are actually a bit smaller than the eDs. Not sure about depth but I'm not sure thats what I have to worry about. A 1" spacer, the factory speaker holes are the 3 slots (2 small and one wide). Do you have a picture? I'm not sure i'm following you.

sloto,
If its a good place I don't think you really need to worry about them coming off. 5%, nice! What color Fit do you have?

Not the 3 slots. the actual larger hole in the middle of those 3 slots has to be massaged out a little. and you cat use a Metra spacer for the fit. It will align the speaker perfectly to your door panel.
