So i finally managed to get an antenna adapter for the fit. And now i have really shitty radio reception. Anyone else have this problem? j/w

 

I have had bad fm reception from day one on region 89fm to 92 fm. I am looking at replacing the micro 1/8 wavelength with a 1/4 or 1/2 wavelength antenna from a different car but am unsure about issues with the signal amplifier in the roof area. it looks like a 1/4 wavelength is the quick solution if others thread on and there is not an impedance problem or suck. others said they had success with a toyota matrix antena but that is only one or two forum replys and I do not know what the radio is or their sign amp go around.
