installing carbon dash panel, need help...

installing carbon dash panel, need help...

purchased this item while i was in hk, thought it looked pritty gd..



now im trying to fit it, and does not come with any instructions.. i have tried force, screw driver, the lot.. still cant get the thing off..





the carbon panel is screwed into the dash, but need to remove the bit in front of that if yous no wat i mean..

anyone out there have any ideas???

no idea wat the hell happened to the images...

Not a fan of fake cf and ouch on that last pic.
You've to remove the gauge trim to get those pieces off.
Here some pics on how to do it:

damn bro shrink ur pix!!! It sucks u already damaged the oem one but its okay ur gonna get it replace. Anywyas, here is how u take off ur gauge hood cover:

- First, take the gauge surround off. Just grab on to those silver painted rings around the gauges and pull them towards u, it will unclip.
- Then u will have 4 screws to remove the gauges from the car. Remove those and unclip the harnesses.
- Next is to take the 5 screws off the hood and there u go, done.

its pull the surround, then that under hood lip thing with 4 screws, then the cluster with 2 screws then the hood with 5 screws.. i installed the honda navi last night so i know all too well

cheers guys for the reply, i figured it out as soon as i posted this..

i got it from gary at g-one auto in hk.. it is fake carbon, but the lid is a genuine honda part..

he told me to use a screw driver to yank it out, damn him.. but its done now.. it looks well..

dont no wat happen with the pics, never done that before...
