an Ipod won't kill your battery overnight. Your head unit is staying on all night even though the lights off. Processing bck and forth to your ipod takes a bit more power. Your head unit has a problem internally and should be repaired/replaced.

 

well, it's brand new out of the box. i tested it today with the ipod plugged in and it continuously plays.

 

you might need an update for your headunit. my strada needed an update to deal with ipod video so id assume that yours would be similar.

i found out what killed my battery


my son and his little buddy watched starwars episode 5 without me starting the car. then i proceeded to play the radio for 3 hours after that without starting it
