MP3 connection for Sport

I have just bought an auto Sport and found there is no jack to plug in my MP3 player :-( The dealership has told me these are on the SE but not the Sport. I have also been told it cannot be fitted as an option after delivery.

I can see the fascia has the the slot which could be punched out. How could I get this set up for me? Any ideas?? Thanks"

Talk to the guys in the parts department. There's likely a way to get it. If not, odds are you could make a kit from the US or Canada work.

In the US, there's an optional kit for the 2006 Civic, at the bottom of that page. So as long as the radio in your Fit/Jazz has the same port, this will work. Here's the link to the installation manual. Very simple.

Auxilary Audio Jack

Thanks for the excellent link, it does look pretty easy. I have checked the Honda UK site and the auxilary audio jack is standard according to the spec list. I know I had seen one on the Sport. I'm going to ask the nice Honda man how he's going to fix it for me (I've only had my car 48 hours ). Thanks for your help, that's a good site and I'll be back!!

Good luck with the dealer! Check the owners manual, maybe it's located somewhere else.

I have been in discussions with the dealership who attempted to fit the part last month but they have told me in cannot be done. My model is 2005 as oppose to the 2006 model I ordered and paid for (as detailed in my other threads). My dealer has now agreed to provide me with a new 2006 model, so I'm in the process of swapping cars over.
Don't give up on these dealers - I'm nearly there :-)

As if they tried to do that! Good for you for noticing and doing something about it.

I'm just wondering if anyone has tried the MP3/PSP wireless FM transmitter
for auto and home. Don't know maker's name, sells for $30.
