Kenwood KAC-8104D + 2x Kenwood KFC-W3011 compatible?
A local shop is offering those 2 items (1 amp + 2 subs) for $349. Seems like a pretty sweet deal but I'm completely new to this subs / amp thing.
Here are the specs for the amp:
» mono subwoofer amplifier
» 300 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms (500 watts x 1 at 2 ohms)
» CEA-2006 compliant
» variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz at 24 dB per octave)
» bass boost (0-18 dB at 40 Hz )
» subsonic filter (15/25 Hz, 18 dB/octave )
» Class D design
» speaker-level inputs with signal sensing turn-on » preamp-level inputs and outputs
» fuse rating: 40A x 1
» 8-gauge power and ground leads recommended — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier
» 11-1/16"W x 2-3/8"H x 9-7/8"D » warranty: 1 year
and here are the specs for the subs:
» 12" subwoofer with 4-ohm voice coil
» stainless steel-coated polypropylene cone with rubber surround
» power range: 50-400 watts RMS (1,200 watts peak power)
» frequency response: 25-800 Hz
» sensitivity: 90 dB » mounting depth: 6-3/4"
» sealed box volume: 0.8 - 1.75 cu. ft.
» ported box volume: 1.0 - 2.0 cu. ft.
» Recommended Q-Logic Box Type: 1, 2, 3
» warranty: 1 year
Now my main question is will they work together no problem? Judging by the numbers the amp's 300 RMS and the Subs 400 RMS is already off to begin with. Now having that 1 amp powering 2 subs isn't that extremely underpowered or am I'm totally off?

I have actually installed that setup before, though not in a fit. They will work with no problem, though those subs could handle a little more power. They'll be pulling a 2-ohm load from that amp wired in parallel, which is putting out 500@2Ohm so figure 250 per sub.
