security system on Sport model...

Hi!

I was wondering if it was possible to instal some vibration
sensors to the OEM security system that come w/ the fit sport ???

geez, i was cleaning my car and had the windows rolled down....so i reach in thinking nothings gonna happen, yeah bad idea car starts honking like mad!!! Freakin crap was loud and annoying!!!.....lol but hey if it stops a car thief then good for the loud and annoying sounds!!

Adding a shock sensor can most likely be done. Here is a link to an install on an Acura CL:

Keep in mind that with this method, once anyone bumps the car (above the shock threshold), the alarm will activate immediately. Most aftermarket alarm systems with shock sensors allow for warning chirps for light taps and full siren on shocks that go over a set threshold.

I know this thread is old but do believe it is important. Have anyone ever installed shock sensors (single & dual staged) in their Fits equipped with the factory alarm? Does it work with the factory alarm or would I have to get an independent alarm to make it work?
