Clarification Needed: Aftermarket Stereo/Headunit for US Fit

I've searched the forums and have found mixed statements on the ability to install an aftermarked headunit.

Is there a fit-kit for the fit? Or do I need to track down a source for Euro/Asia based models with double-din? (see pics)

If there is a fit-kit, say from Crutchfield, has anyone tried one? Anyone have a pic with it installed?

I'd like to know these things BEFORE I purchase a Fit. If I can change the stereo I'll just go with the base model b/c that's the only reason I'd want the sport model. I'm don't care about the body kit, wheels, cruise control, or keyless entry BUT I do care about the stereo with AUX and iPod integration.

Thanks in advance,
Puma

they dont have anything yet as a kit for our usdm model... most likely u will have to import the euro double din face or a LHD version, cuz the RHD JDM version wont fit

Any update to this? Or a source for the correct trim panel?
