Well soon i am going to buy a new aftermarket HU and the Infinity Basslink ii. I want to do the install myself and i have a question about the vehicle stereo harness. Ill be using the supplied adapter harness from Crutchfield.com but from looking at page 4(http://www.handa-accessories.com/fit/musiclink.pdf) There are a good many connectors. I see the antenna connector but not sure which connector i will hook the receiver wire harness adapter to. If anyone could help i would greatly appreciate it.

 

You only really need 2 adaptors/harnesses. The ones I use are Scosche HA10B (main wire harness) and HAAB (Antenna adaptor). And you just wire them up to the wire harness for the head unit.

 

So once i actually get behind the factory unit and remove it it will be obvious which two connections i need?

 

Yea, it just looks like a lot because of all the other stuff surrounding it.

 

Cool thanks! Now i was looking at the back of the HU im going to purchase and it doesnt seem to have an antenna turn on lead or somewhere to hook up the REM cable from my amp. Can i just splice both the antenna adapter and REM from my amp into the "remote lead(blue w/white stripe)" wire from the HU wire harness?

 

That I don't know... I just swapped out my headunit and that's all I done with it.
