good door speakers for lower power?

I recently replaced the stock HU with a Pioneer avh-3200BT and wow! what a difference it made. But now I have a new problem, the added power of the new HU really makes the stock speakers distort at higher volume. Has anyone replaced their door speakers with a component set that ran right off the HU instead of through an amp? Is it necessary to amplify these sets? The Pioneer claims that it puts out 50 watts peak so I thought that if I could find a set that had high sensitivity the head unit might power them. Any thoughts?
