H-Fit vs strut king hard shifter bushings

H-Fit vs strut king hard shifter bushings

I want to install the T1R short shift, and hard bushings at the same time... but i would like to know if there's a difference...

Strut king seems to have a 8 piece design... how about h-fit?

I do like the fact that H-fit is designed for the fit vs strut king for acura... even if SK is cheaper...

does any of them raise the assembly or do something different???

Well as much as it might seem like a stupid comparison, here's what i was able to learn:

From strut king:

The 8 piece bushings replace the steel and rubber combination
currently on your vehicle, it will raise the shifter slightly, less
than 1/2cm. There are 4 bushings that go under the shifter and 4 that
go ontop where the bolt mounts the shifter into place. They are made
to OEM specs as they replace the OEM pieces.
From H-fit:

The H-FIT Bushings are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum then black hard
anodized for durability and a nice finish. The bushings are actually
one solid piece each, so there would be 4 pcs. per kit.

They are ~1/8" taller than the OE rubber mounting bushing and hardware.

During our R&D, we tested the deflection of the stock shifter box
assembly during shifts and we found that the OE rubber bushings allowed
the entire assembly to lift about 3/8" so we were sure the additional
height of our hard mounts would not cause any fit or function issues.

The additional ~1/8" height was necessary to optimize our Short Shift
Adapter System, but we have found that the slight increase in height
does not affect the fit when used with the stock shifter assembly as
well.

Through the development of our SSAS system we found that our customers
did not notice the slight height increase, but one can compensate for it
by screwing the shift knob on one turn tighter.

Other than the slight height increase, we also increased the lower
diameter of the bushing to maximize the contact surface area for
durability.
So basically, strut king raises the assembly a little more... and H-fit as a good justification for the slightly higher price...
