does anyone have expeirence with the OEM rolling type cargo cover and a sub? does it make a flapping noise or such? should i have my friend just make me a custome one out of mdf?

 

I don't think you have to worry about the flapping noise of the fabric all the way up front in the driver's seat. It's the rattling noises of the plastic roller parts that I'd worry about.

If you do have your friend make the cargo cover out of MDF don't make it one solid peice. Cut out the middle (but leave a center bridge) so the bass can play thru. It should still look solid after you stretch and glue the fabric (or carpet) over it.

 

i have the rolling cover on my car and the bass does not effect it. the only flapping noise i would get from it is if the windows are down and the rear seats are down. besides that not a problem!

Yeah there won't be any flapping noise...you might get rattles or the mirror vibrating though
