Am I allowed to plug my for sale ad for my Proclip mount?

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/sale...od-holder.html

:P

I couldn't get used to it being on the left side. Hopefully someone else can make good use of it.

I use it with the bluetooth features of my AVIC D3, so ergonomics are not a big deal to me cuz I end up using the D3 for some features. If you are severely right handed, you may want to stay away. It depends on your phone too and what buttons you need to access.

Anyone try their adjustable console mount before? They show a side pic, but no top pic, I want to see how far inwards it goes and if it is on an angle or not.

I have been using the adjustable console mount for about four months now for my Zen mp3 player.
This is my view while driving:

I positioned mine so it's in easy reach.
I did not "stick" it on and it easily slips off if I want to remove it yet stays very secure while driving.
I don't think it gets in the way of the passenger but I never have anyone sitting there.

My set up has a double swivel (one on the base and one on the holder) so I can get quite a bit of angle.

Here is what my cell phone is sitting in:

Mine is just black and gray like the interior of my Fit. A nice guy at the service desk at the Honda dealership wanted one so I stopped by and gave him the information so he could order. Just clips to your vents beside the wheel. It is a fun item on the car.

Sweet! That was exactly what I was looking for! I'm looking to put my iPod touch in there when I hook it up to my Aux. I'm going to use the A-Pillar mount for my cell phone! Which size did you buy (I think they have 3 different sizes...looks like you got the small one)? A Pt# would be great! Excellent, it's even installed on the JDM console! hehehe

Anything similar for XMradio? I can't find anything for the fit specifically for a RoadyXT. I've got it sitting in the console and have to reach down to change stations. I'd like to get something that is a custom fit.

That's the middle size, pn 830525.
A little tricky getting the adjustment right because of the angle of the top edge of the console but once I found a good position, I can slip it off and on easily, although I mostly leave it on.
The JDM console was the first mod I made to the car. It holds my 32oz Aladin mug! I can't say if the stock USDM console would take the same size pro-clip. If I remember right, I measured the side of the console at a little over 4", which is the middle of the range for the middle size.

Does it swivel as is or you need a holder that swivels?

The adjustable console mount is sold with a swivel or without and the device holder is sold both ways also. My set up has the swivel on both, thus the double swivel!
You certainly do not need a double swivel to be able to reach the proper angle from the drivers seat. I wanted a little bit of extra reach, so I don't have to lean forward to touch the controls (skip, pause, play, etc.). I would recommend you have at least one swivel to get your player's screen angled for easy reading, as in song titles, etc. not watching movies!

dude the fit comes standard with an ipod holder! you guys didnt know?
its also called a passenger seat...

hah get one of those rubber cases for the ipod and itll stick to the seat and not slide around when you take those Fit-Turns !

as far as phones go -- (dont diss till you read) i put the phone on my seat between my legs... there is no way i would be able to hear the ringer anyway. and the only way to know its ringing is the vibrate mode ... (there is NOTHING SEXUAL HERE!) i know a lot of people that do this too it seems to be the best way

Has anyone used one of ProClip's adjustable console mounts? If so, which one did you get, and how well does it work?

I'm very pleased with the quality of the mount and the ease of use. It places my mp3 player right at my fingertips without getting in the way of anything.
Pictures and actual model number are described a couple of posts up.
