has anyone used one of the JL Shallow subs in a fit? seems like it could be ideal for the spare tire or a tiny box..

 

It would be but it might be just slightly too big in diameter to mount into the spare. The internal rim size should be nearly the same diameter. They are supposed to be a sweet sounding sub. I tried to find one for my install but couldn't find one at a reasonable price
