Exclamation plastic washer?

I was uninstalling the stock console to replace the new armrest, however.

Just now, I found a plastic washer with waves on my floor mate.
I have no clue where it is from.

Any ideas? like to know so I can install it back.

Thanks

Check on the very front of the console (towards the dash). To me, it seems like you broke the side push clips for the console. Its a good chance Honda would have those in stock if you want to replace them, not too critical when re-installing since the console "hooks" onto something to align itself and that point kinda keeps it in place.

What year is your Fit just out of curiosity?

I Installed the same new OEM armrest/console yesterday on a 2012 Fit Sport, and have the same washer left over. I have no idea where it came from, but have seen no ill effect nor rattle from not re-installing it.

The washer itself is unrelated to the front push clips. It was at the center between the hand brake and the auto shifter.

Well then. Solves that mystery. The dealer installed my armrest at delivery and I found the same washer on my carpet. It's just sitting in my glove box now. I'm going to go see the install PDF at College Hill Honda to see if it doesn't solve for where it came from!

That may be possible; however, it may not necessarily be the OP's case. They never mentioned what generation or year Fit they have.

Yup! If you look at step 7 of the install PDF you can see a line that draws up to the consol in between the handbrake and the auto shifter. There's the washer. Solved!

I am glad I kept my little washer now because I am waiting for a blue bulb in the mail to replace the one in the shifter. I'll just replace it then.

Would you be so kind to circle it or something? I am using the college hills of honda's pdf.
