Post Driver speaker sounds bad? Read this before replacing.

Well first of all I'm new here and since some people helped me with another problem I had on another thread I decided to contribute. I've had my Fit for around 2 weeks now and I noticed that when I had the radio up loud the driver side speaker sounded horrible, especially when I had a song playing that had alot of bass on it. So I decided to check it out and I found out that the bottom clips of the speaker were broken. So everytime I turned the volume up, the speaker would vibrate and rock back and fourth a little on the door metal. I fixed it by taping the speaker down to the door assembly firmly, I know it's a very cheap fix and maybe somebody else will come up with a more clean fix, but it works and sounds better now! Just wanted to share that just in case anybody else has a problem like I had.

Thanks for the fix.

Quick question? since the Fit is new why not take it back to the dealer to get it fixed properly without using tape?

I thought the same thing. But it might be a "new to me" car and not brand new??

Yes you are correct. It's new to me, it's a 2007 Fit Sport haha, sorry I forgot to mention that.
