Hello Everyone.

I am new to the forum, and wanted to thank everyone (Especially Ben at AJ Racing) for all the help I have received. I have ordered some parts to begin making my Fit unique, and am excited that I have a great car.

Today I finished installing a custom shifter which I thought some of you might find interesting. It is a Blue Pearl shifter that ... surprise... lights up. I thought it was really cool. Let me know what you think.

The shifters come in different styles and colors (Mine is the blue pearl).

Is it pretty hard to install it?

 

DUDE I have never seen such awesome shifters! I wish I would hav waitted on buying mine.. oh well.

mabye I will get the ivory w/ blue flames to match my interrior lighting at night... ohh.. pppreeetyy..

 

The installation takes about 5 minutes, and then however long for youu to wire the light up. Instructions are included. What is not included, which I recommend is the following:

- Blue Loctite for threads (do not use the red one since it is permanent)
- wire strippers
- Pliers

I actually did not wire my light directly into the Fits electrical system, I wanted to control the light independant of the Fits lights.

I got a 9V battery box and power it with a 9V battery and rigged a switch to turn it on and off. This way I can control it independantly of the Fit's lights.
