Clazzio vs. Katzken seats
It seems like everyone around here has Clazzio seat covers.
Why are they so much more popular than Katzken?
Are they significantly cheaper?
Looks like Clazzios are something you install yourself, vs. having a pro do Katzken??
I assume the Clazzios can be removed? Do they work well? They don't move around alot?
Thanks!

The Clazzios look about as good, cost less than 1/3 as much, are easily replaceable by yourself if you did scratch/tear one...I could go on.
I don't really have a "budget" for my Fit, I just buy whatever I want for it, and I still went the Clazzio route instead of Katzkin because I just don't see any VALUE in spending 3+ times as much money for something that looks so similar.
Here's pros/cons list (in my opinion) for going Clazzio:
Pros
Less than $300 vs >$1000
Looks phenomenal with the vinyl/PVC, no need for leather insert ones
Can retighten yourself or add foam to perfect the look
Can replace yourself if something gets damaged
Can sell them for about $200 here, making net cost <$100
Install front and rear by yourself in under two hours
Adds a layer of foam to your factory seats
Protects your factory cloth- keeps it like new
Cons
Not real leather, so no leather smell
Will not be perfect in some spots, so need to add foam for perfect look
Fewer customization options
8+ week wait for custom combos
I just did the Clazzios a few days ago and have shown them off to many of my friends (most of them drive luxury cars with factory leather) and they ALL think they are an expensive (>$1000) aftermarket job. Even looking at the car from outside, seeing the nice looking "leather" seats makes the car look MUCH more upscale.
The Clazzios in this car are just SO good, by far the best upgrade I have ever done to a car. 2nd best would be supercharging my 2009 MX-5. Yes, the Clazzios are just THAT good.
I am REALLY glad I went with the triple black because I do think that the only thing that looks factory in these cars is all solid colors. My 2013 Mustang GT had contrast stitching but it was $40,000, I think contrast stitching in this economy car looks a little tacky/ricer, but I feel the same about stretched tires, lots of camber, black painted hoods, etc, although these things are common in the Honda community so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Like many here, I emailed Spencer at Beans Garage for availability, then placed my order and had them here in less than 5 days. Great customer service.

Most of us got them from Spencer at Bean Garage. He got mine out very quickly and responded to my questions quickly too.
