Well you'll have to drive like an old man:
- Drive really slow(60mph) with the cruise control on as often as possible
- No jackrabbit starts when the light goes green
- Try to draft behind those 18 wheelers and huge SUV's

OLD MAN! hahahaha

I can't drive like an old man!! NO WAY!

As for the instrument cluster, pull that shroud off around the speed/tach/info guage. (It is a thin piece of plastic, start working it from the one side a little, than the other, then the center!)

NOTE: if you are not carefull when yanking you may snap it! It is cheap plastic!

Once you've got that guage cover off, you will start to see screws to get the rest of things out! Have Fun!

Power Enterprises makes a thing called a CamCon that lets you change the VTEC crossover point, I believe. Should let you move your VTEC change to a higher RPM when cruising.

That looks fake. I don't know how to do that, but i'm sure it's possible if you want to tear apart your whole instrument cluster and you are good with computer boards/electronics!

I'd be happy if I could just HEAR the VTEC crossover...

I can tell the difference when im in 16V mode vs 12V mode, but I'd really like to hear the other 4 valves open. If only it were the exhaust side maybe..

Wow. Vtec engages at that low of an RPM.... That could explain why I've gone through my last two tanks of gas so quickly. Lots of highway driving at 3,000 - 4,000 rpm and shifting around 4,000

ive always thought vtec engaged at 3800 RPM or soemthing cuz i can notice the engine noise when i go from 35 to 38, like i could hear the intake cams opening wider
hmmmm never knew
