VTEC Light for USDM FIT Completed!
What 387miles??? Wow what gal tank that you have to get 387 (10 or 9)?? That's a lot of mileage!!! I wish I can get that mileage
- Drive really slow(60mph) with the cruise control on as often as possible
- No jackrabbit starts when the light goes green
- Try to draft behind those 18 wheelers and huge SUV's
hahahaha....I try to take your advice be a old man!!!!
OLD MAN! hahahaha
I can't drive like an old man!! NO WAY!
As for the instrument cluster, pull that shroud off around the speed/tach/info guage. (It is a thin piece of plastic, start working it from the one side a little, than the other, then the center!)
NOTE: if you are not carefull when yanking you may snap it! It is cheap plastic!
Once you've got that guage cover off, you will start to see screws to get the rest of things out! Have Fun!

The guys at 8thcivic.com were wanting something like this to happen to thier gauges when VTEC hits, check out this video. YouTube - Toyota's Valve Lift, vvtL-i
Wow. Vtec engages at that low of an RPM.... That could explain why I've gone through my last two tanks of gas so quickly. Lots of highway driving at 3,000 - 4,000 rpm and shifting around 4,000

this is the best mod ever...!!! loved how you did it to Stan's ride...
