Awesome, and I love your past builds as well. I'm still not completely sold on what it takes to do a K-swap, but I sure as hell enjoy reading about others doing them. For me, modest FI is about all that's in the cards for my Fit. Anyway, keep up the great work... it's a beautiful build!

I admire the fact that you didn't really do any cosmetic changes. I can't help but get tints and stuff lol you plan on anything with the bodywork since the motor is basically taken care of?

If someone was to install a K motor on a stock suspension, or even a FIT speced aftermarket suspension like the major namebrand companies. then yes you would notice the difference.

Progress suspension had made great strides to make sure the handeling of the fit was not comprimised with the swap, so I have personally tested 2 setups , the street system, and the full race system. I love the street system for daily driving.

anyone can contact Joey at progress to get the same system for there K swap fit.

thanks for the heads up , ill look into that company.

exactly why for 90% of fit modders out there, boost makes so much more sense.

but props to you man for doing what you have done, the car is great!

gotfitted: i dunno if it would be like an ek with a b series, k series motors have a bit more torque, even if the cars have the same hp/lbs ratio.

so how much respect do you have for a guy running a k swap with boost?
i think a built k24 bottom end should be next on the agenda when you have a bank account to kill.

Maybe in a year or two when the price of the kits come down I might do one. Alot of the kits are nice and all but alot of people have the same kit and If I was to do a body kit I would have to look for something different.

Figured I would update my status on my FIT - She is running Great - I DeTuned her for Daily driving and Fuel economy.
Suspension is getting an overhaul by ProgressAuto I lowered the car 1" so she sits alot more closer to the ground and so far have not had any issues with aligenment and premature tire ware (except for full throttle pulls)

Engine currently has 13k on it mostly highway being from Seattle to LA, 4 times now (and 2 time attacks, 1 import battle, and 1 super lap battle Track events) My plans are to Remove the Eton Charger and replace it with a Kraftwerk's Race kit and custom intercooler with Tial BOV.

Transmission LSD is due for an overhaul with the ammount of punishment I put on this car on a daily basis and track events, the LSD is losing some grip, but thats ok its easy fix.

Tuning has been great , easy to do with Hondata Kpro engine management. I have been able to address any issues with the engine with Kpro - only thing that has come up was poor fuel mileage do to a conector melting.

Tires I have gone threw 3 sets now , ( 2 sets ) falken azenis rt-615, goodyear fierce currently on car now. I prefer the RT-615s but would rather be on Potenza S-03 Pole Position.

Interior is still stock for my Daughter to transport her anywhere I need to go holding up good with the damage from Dog, and family. and Screaming friends when I take them for a, " Hey let me see what your FIT can do"

so enough talk here are some pics.
