Made my own dead pedal...pics

So I thought I'd make my own dead pedal for my GE8, turned out pretty good I think...check it out.

I made the pedal from a piece of aluminum I had left over from a job...okay, here's a quick DIY for ya.

1) Place a piece of plain of paper like copy paper, (I used pattern paper), and trace your existing foot rest.
2) Cut out your pattern and lay it on the material you're using, (I used 1.25 aluminum), and trace on the surface.
3) Cut out your pedal, lay out and draw a grid to determine the distance to drill your holes.
4) Drill your holes, then use a counter sink to create the "funnel" effect, I used 3/8 bit.
5) Sand to the finish you want, then install. You can install it with screws or 3M auto tape, just be sure that if you use tape, clean the foot rest well then wipe it down with alcohol.
*Lots of fun to make!

Really nice job and i am liking the carbon fiber pedals. I've got the Mugen and I really love them.

thanks...really liking it. Changed the way I mounted it though to make it more stable...all in all it turned out good.
