"Rally" type suspension?
"Rally" type suspension?
Looking for a higher spring rate, but at the OEM ride height.
Bilstien PSS-9 would be one alternative but as far as I can tell there isnt a PSS-9 for the fit
I currently drive a 92 VW Golf (A2 chassis) with Bilstien HDs and "custom" tall SRS springs running 200lbs/150lbs springs. It does what I want - stock ride height for pot hole bashing prowess and stifer spring rates for better (but not as good as SRS Real street) cornering.
Anything out there (I cant seem to locate anything).
I guess the other alternative is Coil Over and custom springs?

One of the vendors of this site has MOTON (sp?) listed on their site as a Fit "fitment"... given what Moton is - I sure its more of a custom job.
As I just started looking at a Fit I have no idea what the rear suspension configuration is. Im going to assume that the front is a McPherson strut.
Moton is up there with Ohlins... they are NOT going to be cheap - but you should be able to get whatever valving you want
- being as they are built to order and are "rebuildable" so changing valving is a "stack rebuild"....

well, the rear suspension setup is quite similar to a mk4 vw, with the exception of no solid rear axle.
shine makes good stuff, too bad dick won't use his talent for other makes. the fit could really benefit from his prowess.

Like a MKIV VW... yup.. I saw a pic
Rear spring in a "bucket" with a seperate shock.
Looks like an adjustable "pillow" might help. Looks like a standard remote res shock would be relatively easy to fit.
Havent seen a pic of the front suspension setup - i.e. the spindle and lower A arm configuration...
THREAD DRIFT
Is the 1.5L motor "reverse spin" compared to the rest of the world (i.e. the trans is on the right/N.A.passenger side)?
