which should i get first?

i don't know when i'm going to be able to get coilovers....
so right now i'm just going to do minor things to stiffen up the chassis. . .

i'm deciding which little mod i can get first, and why...
t1r c pillar bar
wr rear cage

which would be a better investment first? they're both around the same price too. eventually i'll have both, but not for a while.

I say you save up for your coilovers. The more funds you can set aside for it, the sooner you'll be able to afford them. BTW, what coilovers are you look at?

honestly, you may not even feel the rigidity without stiffer suspension.

how about you start with better tires?

ken, for tires.... i'm getting rt-615's in 205/50/15 with a 15x6.5 rim +40 offset.

and you know what.. you guys are right... really i wanted a c pillar bar so i can hang up some clothes and stuff lolol.

dude, those bars do nothing but take up your cargo space. a RSB will actually improve handling

i already have one in my posession.
and the c pillar bar... i'll probably end up using it to hang some clothes and i'm always dressed up.. could hang my jacket with it
with the rear cage... isn't that also increasing chassis rigidity moreso in the rear? i'm sure the c pillar bar also decreases chassis flex. i mean it's not like they don't do anything... right???

very fuctional piece as closet coat hanger rack.

im sure it does something vs that gimicky rear strut tower bar. that
piece is so bogus i can't believe people even get it other than for
hanging towels or something. putting a bar over rubber mounts?
uhhhhhh.... but that's a whole new topic.

jezzy, the difference between me getting just the coilovers as opposed to the coilovers and the c pillar bar is a week. i make ~430/wk so if i were to get the c pillar bar before the coilovers, it'd only be a week or so longer for me to get the coilovers after i buy the c pillar bar.

just wanted to really see what everyone's opinion between the cage and bar is

quick little update for those who cared. lol.
i'm only 2 more weeks from getting coilovers. i'm going to order the c pillar bar this weekend, get my coilovers in 2-3 weeks, buy rims / tires in a month, and then install everything at the same time. sad thing is my fit hasn't even come in from japan. ftl. lol.
