Just bought some endura-techs!

Thats right, they should ship out monday. Hopefully I will have them installed by this coming weekend. Anyone know how difficult it is to install coilovers w/ hand tools?

I will definitely write a review for these and let everyone know what I think about them.

Hey there! As a reminder when the coilovers come out of the box, they are all ready set up on the front units to provide you with a 1.5" height reduction. The rears will have to be adjusted themselves and are really simple to do, just look at the instruction sheet (page 2), follow the height recommendation on the lower spring bracket and you will also receive a 1.5" height reduction. The instructions are pretty detailed and with the pictures you should easily be able to figure anything "questionable" out.

We appreciate your decision to buy Endura-Tech. With all the other brands of coilovers out there, making choices can be difficult, but you made a very good choice in these.

Kind regards,

Justin

hey how much of a drop can they go? I think Skunk2 can go 3" or so. Is 1.5" the max for Enduratech?

Yes, you could slam it down to 3" or just a hair under. When the coilovers are shipped to the end user, they are set up at 1.5" of lowered height. The difference in height between the lower lock nut above the lower bracket and the spring seat is another roughly 1.75" plus you could then adjust the spring load and get a little more lowered, but I do not recommend adjusting the spring pre load, leave them the way they are out of the box.

LOL... yah ive been alway from the sus forum a bit but you can
find me over in the newbs thread Ken's Fit Blog or PM's if you
need me.

Anyway, yes, as Endura-Tech mentioned, the instructions that
come with the package is real nice. it has pictures, detailed
instructions along with torque rating, special tips, etc.

The setting out of the box is actually excellent. the only thing
i changed from the setting that came with the ET's were the
rear cause my Fit's torsion beam has some pre-load from the
factory. that's one of the other beauties of coilovers cause
you can corner weight them and also fix any unwanted
characteristics of the car. my car now sits perfectly flat
on the rear where as it was leaning a little with the driver
side a tad higher than the passenger side.

just take your time when installing.. it's not race how quickly
you can install the system. plus, you want to take a good
look at the assembly how well it's made. once it's on the car
you rarely see it again, so enjoy the quality and craftsmanship
of the ET's during install.
