Brake Pad

Any recommendation of brake pad for 09 fit? beside Project U?
Need advice for quality brake pad not "branded" brake pad.

Project Mu pads are good.
Other brands you can check out: Hawk, Porterfield, EBC, Tanabe.

yeah i have, the green i dont see any point in buying the red for my use and they feel how you are describing your hawk HPS. the only thing i can say about the hawks is that after awhile they started making noise. thats why i wanted to try the project MU but i only found them with the big brake kit.

what are you running right now? just the pads? i have stainless lines and stock rotors with pads. stopping power seems to be fine.

FYI we share the same caliper with jdm EG2/6/9, EK3/4, usdm ep si hatch & rsx base.

Which kinda Project U did u get?

I used Hawk HPS & HP+ with stock rotors w/ stock blank rotors before. HPS is about the same as stock replacement, HP+ got a strong initial bite, quite a bit of noise & dust which is hard to wash.

Using Ferodo DS2500 with power slot slotted rotors now, same setup that I used on my EM1 before. Yes it cost more but no noise what-so-ever, dust can be easily hosted off & brake power is linear. The warmer the brakes the better feel it is(it's still 2-3c at night out there in Vancouver)......

U really get what u paid for on brakes & suspension parts...

there not stock replacement pads. project mu has excellent pads and these work with stock rotors. the only other mod i have to brakes is the T1R stainless lines which i think should be enough.
