Dela is running ground control sleeves on his GE. i helped with the first install and it is a very nicely constructed set-up. if you contact ground control directly, you can order the height of the drop and spring rates at whatever specs you'd like.

hello!

dela would be me...

the website is www.ground-control.com

i'm on stock shocks as of now but plan to get konis when available

from what i can remember...
the standard specs are
front 6" springs/2.5" diameter/ 375 lbs per inch
rear 10" springs/2.5" diameter/ 150 lbs per inch

my specs are slightly different...

but give them a call.. they are awesome to talk to, tell them what you want to do with the car and they'll give you suggestions... and if you're set on what #s you want they probably will gladly give it to you...

can go down a bit lower but i dont want it slammed... n i have 15" wheels with 50 sidewall tires.. so the gap is bigger then if you had stock size tires... and theres not a lot of available sporty tires in 15" with a 65 sidewall

but if you want to SLAM your car... i wouldnt recommend GCs... D2s do a good job of slamming...

although you might get better adjustability from different full coilovers, the GC/koni combo is a popular set up for many cars in terms of handling... (which is the route i plan on going, eventually)

Thanks for these specs.

Converted to metric units, the spring rates would work around to:
Front = 6.69 kg(F)/mm
Rear = 2.68 kg(F)/mm

On paper they're kinda stiff up front for a GE I think. How are they handling so far?

well as of now.. on stock shocks.. it feels WAY oversprung all around... but i took it out around malibu mountains with my mr2 buddies and it handled great, kept up with some of them...

but yeah... im dying for koni to release something already.. lol

call them... they can help... but if you want to go lower, you can either lower the spring rates and/or reduce the spring length...

if you go to the GC website you can check out all the available springs, basically mix n match... 2.5" diameter springs and GC 64 mm springs are what your looking for

*edit* just a suggestion...
im sure you can go a lot lower with these springs...

front
GC150.64.53 (6/2.5"/300 lbs)

rear
Eibach Springs, 0800.250.0150

(my rears are actually 8" springs/2.5" diameter/ 175lbs per inch)

example
GE fit sport
2520 lbs curb weight
62/38 weight distribution
1562lbs front/957lbs rear

781lbs each front side
478lbs each rear side

standard specs
781lbs(1in/375lbs)= drops 2.08in
478lbs(1in/150lbs)= drops 3.19in (in a 10" spring)

suggested specs
781lbs(1in/300lbs)= drops 2.60in
478lbs(1in/150lbs)= drops 3.19in (but in a 8" spring, it goes 0.5" lower then mine)

so potentially goes ~0.5" lower all around compared to my GCs...
