GD3 Smaller Front discs for drag racing and vx wheels

I've been searching a lot on downgrading brakes for drag race purposes but have yet to find a clear answer. Yes I know it's a bad idea but for a lightened car with a 22 lb wheel/tire setup it should be ok. I will be upgrading the pads of course which should make up for some of the braking power loss.

My GD3 has the 10.3" front discs with ABS and I want to use 13" VX wheels. I have searched for several hours over the past couple days and read the Brake Expert upgrade thread (http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=3044628 ) at least twice to make sure.

The caliper so far seems to be the main reason why the vx wheels will not fit. Is it possible to bolt on the eg ek 2056 caliper and bracket to the GD3 brakes? (Which seems to be similar to the 5410 caliper and bracket of the eg ek EX/Si) The rotors AFAIK have the same nominal thickness of 21 mm. Will the caliper and bracket mount without modifcation?

How about the 1st gen Insight Caliper mounting to GD3 hub? The rotors it clamps are 19 mm.

If either of those can be done, great! If 10.3" rotors will still not fit inside a vx wheel, then I will need smaller rotors:

Will the EG EK DX/CX/LX rotors (9.5") OR the even lighter 99-06 Insight 9" rotors bolt up to the Fit GD3 hub? The 9.5" rotors have a smaller center bore reg. of 61 mm as opposed to 64.1 mm of the 10.3" rotors. The 9.0" Insight rotors are thinner 19 mm but also have 61 mm bore reg. Will boring out the center to 64.1 mm allow these to bolt up?

I do know that the civic knuckle (double wish bone) will not swap to the fit. Also, the 1st gen Insight knuckle/spindle is MacPherson strut (like the Fit) but looks to have different dimensions and mounting points.

So if none of these options work, is there an upgraded yet SMALLER caliper that will work with the 10.3" brakes?

Thanks for your help!
