Brembo BBK for the GD3

Hey guys,

I'm guilty of starting this thread for installing Type-R disc brakes on the front of a GD3. These brakes will fit inside a 15" wheel.
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...tallation.html

But Brembo started making a BBK that will bolt onto the GD3.
Brembo Big Brake Kits for your 1996 ACURA INTEGRA Except Type R Models - TopBrakes.com - Your source for Big Brake Kits

This place sells them for $2,600.00 for those who can afford it.

The Brembo kit P/N is 111.5002A. It's in their Grand Turismo Line of HP GT brakes. Since these discs are 313-mm, I don't think they will fit inside a 15" wheel. You will probably need 16-inchers. Also, the brake lines provided in the kit will be useless in the GD3. But, this is a bolt-on mod!

Here is a link to the Brembo info
Kit Detail

That kit was built for the Acura Integra...those are all the piece used for the GD3...that is, they all bolt up...the caliper and the 4X100 discs. The ss brake line will only fit the Integra not the GD3. See link above (in the firt pot) to Acura Integra Type-R brake installation.

Or you could even keep your OEM brake line...but I don't recommend it.

I think that the T1R are discontinued... you should contact Julie Lobato at Techna-fit, she will tell you the ones you need... it will be a little less than the T1R too...

All the dimensions suggest that these will fit into 15" wheels...
Brembo usually will send (download) you a paper templet to see if the brakes will fit inide your wheel...just look around. Do I have to do everything?

for the 313-mm discs

184-mm = 7.244-in or 14.5" ID of the wheel...go measure it. You will have to use 16" wheels with this Brembo Kit with 313-mm discs.

as for the 328-mm discs

192-mm = 7.559-in or 15.125" ID...these might also fit in a 16" wheel, but go measure it.

CAUTION: take note that the wheel might taper as shown in this picture, so you have to meaure the ID of the wheel way down by the lug bolts and not where it i ease at the inside lip of the wheel.

Also make sure you have the clearance at the pokes - the A dimension.

I know this is an old thread,
but 3 years had passed since this was posted,

I wonder if anybody ever buy this Acura Integra Brembo Kit
and put it on a GE Fit?

I really want to see how it looks and fit.
