Skunk2 springs with stock rims
I'm trying to decide if I should lower my car or not. I won't have new rims for a while but I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of their GD3 sport lowered with the stock rims. I feel like my car already sits pretty low and I'm afraid it will be a little too low with the stock rims and tires. Please post up some pics of your car lowered with stock rims and tires along with spring type. Thanks

You mean like this? You should do it man, the GD looks soooo much better an inch or two closer to the ground. These are Skunk2 springs with one full coil cut out of the rear. The skunk2s sit higher in the rear by about an inch inch and a half without cutting, I left them alone for a while but love the look at this height. I also run 10mm spacers in the rear, which means longer studs, but its worth it!

^^ this last pic was taken before I cut the rear coils, see the difference?

You can get the same end result as me without cutting up springs if you mix and match used springs. There was a guy who used to post on here under the username Sam21 who had Skunk2 springs in the front and Tanabe DF210s in the rear and it looked exactly like mine does. Only Eibach Prolines are lower that I'm aware of.....
