noise in the rear
I installed my springs quite a while ago and have not had any problems. All of a sudden I get clunking noises in the rear. I thought it might be my sway bar so I padded the where it mounts up to and the noise is still there. It only makes clunking noises when I go over small bumps. On smooth road there is no noise. Could it be my shocks? I looked at my springs and they look fine.

If nothing visible is loose or rubbing, it very well could be the shocks. Sometimes when shocks wear, the valving inside degrades and can make an internal noise that would not be easily found. If the shocks have a lot of miles on them I would replace them.

After reading a lot of threads. I decided to tighten my shock lower bolts. And it was a bit loose so I tightened it a bit more. And what do you know no more sound. There is very rarely now and very tiny noise but hardly noticceable. Now I have to fix the tiny rattle in the front dash. And I think I read some where on here to fix it I can use some plastic air tubing to make put pressure on the dash.
