RSX-S brakes onto Fit

Hi Guys.

I had a RSX-S which did a full JDM Brembo DC5R conversion. Now i'm have the left over from the RSX-S and wondering if you think i could make sure of it and fit it on the Fit.

I have front and rear calipers, rotors, brake pads, hubs, front drive shafts.

The DC5 axleshafts will have a different spline count and pattern than the Fit's trans, so they won't fit. You COULD get a custom set of axleshafts to fit the Fit's trans and the DC5 hub, but they'd be $500+ for the pair, most likely. NOT worth it at that point.

Next up, you'd need new wheels, as the Fit is a 4X100 wheel, while the DC5 is a 5-lug (5X114mm, I think- been a while!), so a couple hundred there, minimum.

With all that, you're better off just leaving it alone. Unless you're tracking it regularly, a good set of pads and rotors will be enough for 99% of folks out there- Mark W.

Yeah, no way you could do it without spending some decent cash.

With that said though, you could possibly do it by getting some custom rotors made to stay four lug in the front. I know high end companies like Alcon etc. will make rotors to different specs. There would be a TON of trial an error involved i would think, however it is possible.

I retrofitted EVO brembo's onto my S13 by making some caliper adapters and messing around with different rotor sizes.

A FF fit, would obviously be much more intensive though, and I honestly don't see the need for a braking system like that on a car this size, weight, powerful, etc.

If you are planning on a K-swap in the future you could incorporate those parts into the swap much easier I would assume.
