And I like how F&F coilovers can be rebuilt. Has it settled yet, Martin? Can you post a side shot of your car now?

They sure can! They're customer service is awesome too!

Here they are, settled..rear can still come down more, just need to do some more fender/bumper work to get it there. But I love the stance regardless

I'll soon be making the purchase on a certain lip and modifying it to fit

Yeah, I think you need to lower the rear a bit to match the tuck up front. It looks good man! I hope it will look good on my base GD too.

Post up some pictures in here when you get them on!!
Will do! I'm even more stoked on getting them. I can't wait to get paid next week.

Well it is tucking back there, but your right..not as much as the front.

My goal is to get it down another 1/2 inch and I'll be happy. I'm a sucker for a raked look..

And as for your base GD...I think it would look sick. I've actually been contemplating taking off my lip kit all around along with the spoiler and rocking the base look

*That dancing smiley is just awesome

I'm on Skunk2 springs right now. Fronts have 1.5 finger gap and rears have maybe about 2.25 finger gap. If I could just get rid of that gap and let the rubber meet the fender, I'll be a happy camper. I already get compliments having that drop, what more if it goes lower.

@jmsplitfyre I know how you feel haha. I'm on sportlines I'm okay with the drop in the front but the rear I want lower. Don't really like the raked look, I like just a even drop.

Sportlines drop a bit lower than Skunk2's, right? My past 3 cars were slammed so this is kind of irritating for me. My tax return should come soon, so coilovers + new wheels for the Fit just in time for spring.

I got mine through my teams sponsor, but getting them direct through f2autolife seems to be the best price! Compare it to eBay too

I got my old F2's for my EK coupe & hatch from Weaksauce. They only charged me $50 for shipping and I'm in Canada, so I'm gonna assume they're gonna charge you less because you're in the US.

So far the prices I've seen:
From F2autolife - $900
Weaksauce - $888
eBay - $849

@sloganmartin
If ever you take your lip kit off just to see how it will look like, please snap some photos so we can see how it will look like on a base model.

I've been reading up the type twos & you can adjust but spring & shock body to adjust the height. When you slammed it did you just lower the spring perches as low as they could go? Or did you adjust both?

Just a little update. It's been forever!!!

I have since gone wingless and stretched some new tires xD 165/50/15 on these 15x8's | Lost some tuck with the stretch, but still have plenty of room to go down in the rear, and I'm going to be decreasing my pre-load by about an inch at the most to get my front down juuuuust a little more hahah

No major mods done thus far, I am however piecing together a turbo set up! Hoping to have it all done and installed by the end of the year or beginning of next, if not sooner!

Here are some pics for you guys!

FUUUUUU Martin! I just can't express how jealous I am with your coilovers. Can't buy this year due to saving up for a vacation. Oh well.

Car's looking good.

maybe im in the wrong place, sorry i am new here. so i have lowered my gd3 about 2 1/2 inches using d2 coilovers. i took my car to various alignment shops and have been having trouble having it aligned. finally a shop looked at it and told me that they could not adjust my toe because my tie rods were maxed out and had no thread left to play with. my question is if wat he claims is true, how do you go around this problem ? or better yet have any of you Gd3 guys had an issue getting your toe set to 0 or close to it ?
