Edwin (thevilone) is still around. His Fit has taken a different route and he's going with air suspension (and working on his Vape business).

And yeah Mike...I have. They just weren't Fits. So it's a little hard to gauge how a car like a Mustang, Tundra, S2k, WRX will differ from a Honda Fit (which comes from the factory with pretty marginal ride quality to begin with)

The T1r Basics has quieted down and softened a bit since I wrote this up.

I'm thinking about the Tein spring spacer/bushings to add between the perch and the coil. TEIN USA | PRODUCTS | Silencer Rubber But we'll see.

I am waiting for Koni to come out with shocks and struts for the Fit. I have yellow Koni on the back it is the front I would like to replace. Then maybe some GC to have the option on adjusting height along with spring rate. Right now I have Eibach Pro-Kit a little stiff but over all a improvement over the stock ride and handling.

Trying to get it right even if it takes a little longer to get the right parts for me.

I remember when Raceland Coilovers came out for the Miata I think around $300 (still $369) and the number of people who were buying them to try to slam their cars.

Does anyone run a classic Koni yellow with GC coil set up anymore? I remember this was prime because Koni yellows are great, along with being able to order custom spring rates with the GC's

I'm tempted to buy the Koni yellows that Chris modifies.

I'm only worried that since they are made more or less at stock length that the springs may fallout over large bumps or on really rough roads. (AKA Chicago)

The T1R Basics are "basically" they worst coil-overs I'm had the displeasure of using. AJ-R just stopped responding to my emails and the shop I'm going to can't figure out a way to get the rear to quiet down. It creaks and rattles like crazy and rides like there is no travel whatsoever. Rear passengers complain a lot over even mildly uneven road surfaces.

Mostly it's the rattling and noise that bother me. Makes the car sound broken, feel broken, and also cheap.....

Such a terrible choice.

Doesn't look like they make them for the GD3.

sure they are.

Just need to swap your brakeline hardware over to them.

few people on here have GD suspension on their GEs, and they say GD suspension is a tad longer, and brakeline brackets are different,l but attainable

FIZZ autosports just opend on Lawrence. I stopped in the other day and the shop is nice and they are very knowledgeable. I am sure they can help. If you want when I get back from Europ in a couple of weeks I can look at your rattle and see if it is what I think it is to quite it down for you.
