GF210 Tanabe- Wheels and tire Recomendation?

I am looking for someone to fill me in on a Noob situation. I just bought Tanabe GF210 Springs and have read all about how some people have rubbing issues and others do not. I would like some strict advice on what size wheels to go with and what rims if possible. I would like to go 16" and possibly gold like and STI since I have a Vivid Blue FIT sport. Anyone got any ideas for me?

I have Rota Slipstreams 16 6.5 45 offset with 205 46 R16 Toyo Proxes 4.

I'm fairly certain that the Offset of the wheel is very important to preventing rubs. I would shoot for 45 or higher. If you get less than 40 offset your probably need to get like a 40 series tire (on a 16) to keep it from rubbing too much.

If you keep your stock wheels and tires you should be in very good shape. I doubt it will rub any at all on GF210s.

Also a warning - I just had my car lowered on GF210s. It looks much better and handles infinitely better, but the ride is pretty rough. Bumps at greater than 40 are loud jarring events.

I have the GFs w/17s 205/40s +42. No rubbing for me. However only had 3 people in the car at one time. Handles well and a good ride for me.

I have 17's with my GF210's, highly reccomend going with a +45 offset and do your research on the tires. Some tires will still rub, I have heard the best ones are Falken & BF Goodrich. I personally run a weird size, 195/40/17 to avoid rubs. I posted up a full account of my problems and lots of technical info at this location...
