hey guys i found a guy selling ls mesh rims for 300 dollars with good tires

ive always wanted some of these but is that price a rip off or a good deal ?

Rims are also in good condition i want to paint them gold but keep it cheap

 

I seen at least 2 people selling them this week on honda-tech but I dont know what they went for and the condition. I think they are worth around $250 ish or less. So it depends on what kind of tires it come with and how much thread is left.

 

yeah...really depends on the tire. if they are good tires(azenis,k106,rs2,proxes 4) jump on it.

but if not, then forget about it.

you can scoop up a set for like 150. get your own tires and they will be brand new for liek just under 4 bills

 

werd, if the wheels and tires are in good condition sounds like a good deal to me. I picked up a set myself not too long ago wheels only $200. So not too shabby. Good luck painting, I been working on them since I got them, just when I have time. Sucks scraping off all the clear coat and sanding and prepping. Yea went the cheap route, they will be daily wheels. Maybe later get a nicer set. We'll see. Good luck!

 

really...my set really only took me like 3 hours.

i did mine gold rush. i just use that aircraft remover stuff, and let it sit. lightly sanded it(super quickly too) and then just did 7 coats of paint.


then of course you get the stupid tire installers that mess up the FRONT lip, instead of the back. so i got to redo a couple of coats.

no more then 20 bucks i would say, it it last me a long time.

 

Yea the set I got was in pretty decent shape, but had some bad curb rash. So I did the aircraft also but it still needed some elbow grease. Yea I hope the tire guys dont ruin the paint job.

 

I wanted Ls wheels... But then James had to go post up pics of his MR Fit on them

Its funny this thread came up. I saw a black Teg rolling on those over the weekend and i was like "Damn, those are CLEAN!" The i wanted to know what they were called. Haha, then this thread showed up! I love forums!

yeah for those who want to take a look on what they look like on a fit, check my picture thread out.

i think i have a rolling shot and a picture shot. they look alright, maybe now i would like them better since im a bit lower. at that time i was still a bit high. but since i have this new lip, i cant really go with a smaller size rim becuase i would be un-driveable. heh



i like Ls rims better then all the other integra oem wheels.

 

Do you still have yours? They look sick painted on your car!

naw i sold them awhile back. haha for 300 too.


but that was for my time and labor and FRESH tires.

i recoated them, and gave him fresh hankook k106 tires for 300. so if your buddy can beat that, then i say go for it. i dont like ripping people off. cause in return, i think if you do it, it will come back to haunt you.
