TPMS wheels
The TPMS units are small 'boxes' that are the inner ends of tire stems so they can be added to aftermarket wheels but expect cost of $50 to 100 PER WHEEL, making the cost almost the same as the wheel. Thats because there are half-dozen makers with half-dozen programming systems specific to the manufacturer-make. Your government's feckless politicians at work.
Most people put a piece of black electrical tape over the TPMS warning lite. So much for "I'm from the gov'ment and I'm here to help you" senario.

are there any other wheels that will accommodates the tire pressure monitoring system other than the stock set? If so, are there any in bigger sizes (such as 17's or even 18's). Or for everyone who's already changed there wheels, how do you disable the system so you don't get the annoying light on the dash.
Most of us just tape over the warning blinker.
To the tech that says this information is not accurate, I guess you have never attempted to rotate tires on an S2000 due to a blow out...
Also, my biggest gripe with TPMS is weight, they add .5 LB of rotational mass where it hurts, and the weights needed to balance the tire on the other side add another .5 LB. We spend time nit-picking weights on wheels, and then add a pound, kind of dumb.
