The "+45" lightweight wheel thread
Thanks for taking the time to post up the info!!
I saw a set of these rims in the shop when I went to pick up my tires, they look pretty nice! When do we get to see some updated pictures of the Fit!
Weight is not too bad at all either, main post updated!!

Looks good man! Black & Blue is a nice combo and the touches of red match your roof rack.
You need to get some Black Magic tire cleaner though!! Your tires are a way lighter black than the rims, some of that stuff will darken them up a bit

What about the Honda wheels? It would be nice to add them as a comparison.
IIRC the stock 07-08 Sport alloys (15x6 +55) weigh ~18lbs. Anyone know what the HFP or 09+ wheels weigh?
I'm running '03 Civic Si (EP3) rims - they are 15x6 +45 21.5lbs

Bump this antique! I just finished researching, locating, and finally laying my mitts on a set of Mugen RnR's. Just a heads-up to anyone looking for a set: they come in +38 offset as well as +45, so be sure to ask. Offset is stamped into the back of the hub section.
LOL yeah you had them up already. I think this may be where I first got the itch to find a set, in fact. I just wanted to let people know that they come in two offsets.
One very nice thing is that the center bore is an exact match. No centering ring needed.

Not sure they are light enough but how about the Kosei K1's? I"m thinking about to picking up some 17x7.5's +45 for my Fit from a buddy going back to stock on his car. Looks like 16.5ish Lbs per corner. I'msure the smaller sizes would spare some weight.
I'd personally like to stay 15 or at most 16's but I just don't think I can pass up the deal he's offering.

I noticed Tirerack has a few more 17" wheels that fit the criteria now:
Enkei Racing RS-M (+45) - 15.7 lbs.
Enkei Racing RP03 (+45) - 16.8 lbs.
I'd love to get some new wheels, but can't justify buying new tires as well . . . which keeps me in the 15" size. And I can't seem to find an inexpensive lightweight multi-spoke wheel in a 15" size without going to a +40 offset. I love the looks of the O.Z. Superturismo GT, and it's got a pretty friendly 43mm offset. Just can't get my head around a rim that small that still weighs 18.5 pounds.
Maybe I'll suck it up and hope that some negative camber (and possibly rolled fenders) will take care of a more aggressive offset.

Well I bought the K1's. I love the look. Car feels slower if thats actually possible
17x7.5 +45 (16.7 lbs per wheel). They rub a bit in the back if I'm dogging it over RR tracks or a particularly rough road by my house. I've rubbed once or twice in the front but its not enough to bother me for now. So far very happy.

Well I have yet to install them, waiting on purchasing some Advan AD08 205/50R-16 for my RE30s in Hyper Bronze. Size is 16x6.5 +45. Weight I am not exactly sure of, but I would guesstimate by holding it to be about 12.5~13lbs.
