I am curious I am not familiar with the offsets for the Fit. I wonder if someone can answer this for me. Will I rub with 16X6.5 +45 with 185/55/16 with a mild drop? I will have adjustable coilovers so I can adjust the height of my vehicle.

Thanks!!!
~Robert

if i spring for rota c-10's 4x100 +45, would i be able to use the stock tires from my sport wheels 185/55/16 and transfer the tpms when i swap the tires with having the indicator come on?

I think the tpms will work--talk to your tire shop about if they would mount the 185 on the 7 inch wide (i'm assuming) C10s...some will, some won't.

Tire specs say accepted rim range on185/55x16 is 5 to 6.5". If you do that you will likely have to run an additional 5 to 10 psi to take the concave out of the tread.

If anyone's looking for a lightweight wheel (13.8lbs) with a 45mm offset, check my signature! I have a set of enkei rpf1 type II's 16x7 for sale.

not to resurrect the dead thread,
but i experimented on 195/65/r15 with stock height, and i have no rubbing issues. I did load testing with 4 giants in my car and got it to rub a little, but by and large its not an issue.

why you might ask would i want such a large sidewall?
well it decreases rpms at high speeds which makes the whole thing quieter, and also i feel like it helps protect my slipstreams. also these tires seem to have super excellent grip esp if they are not mega inflated.

ultimately the tire/rim combo is lighter than the steelies and stock tires, with more contact on the ground with a larger diameter. it was a pretty good tradeoff and MPG is unaffected curiously.
