I know I wish I could go lower, tried it on a 50 tire and it just wasn't tall enough for the inserts. Maybe trim them and go with a 55 next time

What are the inserts made of, vinyl? Do you tuck them into the bead while mounting the tire? My Dad had an ancient set of inserts when i was a kid on his Model A but they were glued on!

Why not go lower?

I would imagine that it rides very comfortably and still handles at least as well as stock.... I wonder if a 185-60 high performance touring type tire would be a better choice to get the look you want and eliminate the rubbing.

I like it. Is the center bore on the wheel the same as a Honda? What's the offset?

It is refreshing to see the ultra slammed and JDM executive car look isn't the only way a Fit has to look.....As simple as it is, there is a subtle elegance about this car. It makes me wish I still had some of my old VW 13" wheels.

the bore is the same and the offset is 35ish
