You can use either 16" 7.5JJ or 17" 7.5JJ with stock suspension. Tire should be 205/50R16 or 205/45R17. Offset should be 40+.

so if i go with 17" 7.5JJ u say i can use stock suspension which means i don't have to touch it and the car would be the same meaning the driving etc?.

let me know! and thanks!

17" 7.5JJ and 205/45R17 will have almost the same diameter as stock wheels and tires, 185/55R16, with 1% deviation. There should not have any rubbing. However, mileage might suffer due to weight. If you can find light wheels and tires combination, handling should be improved due to wider traction.

I am running 18: 7.5JJ with 215/35R18 on my GE8.

OK man. Damn. You reminded me my previous car .

A renault Clio with 18" wheels mannnnn oh yes.

215.35.18".

But I can't do that now with the fit. I have a son. And we use the car with my wife . So. I want better rims. On 17" but don't touch or lower the car profile etc.

Weight is fine. As long as the suspension works the same etc.

I have this ones in mind:
pacer 776c - silhouette rims options. View pacer 776c - silhouette chrome wheels at WheelsNext.com

Weight for 17" is 21lbs.

The stock for the fit are 17.6lbs.

Is that much more heavier? Or is just fine?

Thanks for the info!

M

I would think you have to look at the wheel and tire weight combination. You cannot compare just wheel only. If you can keep total diameter and weight close to stock wheel and tire combination, the better it is. I would assume that you have 40+ offset and stock suspension.

You can use the site below to compare speedometer deviation.
