i currently have 16" hfp on my fit, i have the k24 swap and am putting a turbo on in spring, look at if i could run a 9 inch wide rim, my hfp are 7.5 wide, try to do everything i can rim and tire wise to control some of the spinning i will have
JCrim ran a 15x9 +36 iirc, but it was still only a 225.
This guy is running:
17x7.5 +38
235/40/17
And You need to space the fender a little bit using a longer bolt and some washers, and use a 3-5mm spacer for inner clearance.

A 225 is quite happy on a 9 wide.
Getting power down other than in a straight line in a K swapped Fit is.... always going to be a challenge. An LSD and clutch upgrade will be required I am sure, especially with a turbo
I can clear inner suspension with 225's on both 15x7.5 +32 and 15x8 +25 without spacers. a 15x9 +36 (The 949 racing 6UL like JCrim ran) will be at least 0.6 inch (16mm) closer to the suspension than my most aggressive setup and I would hedge my bets with at least a 5mm spacer to insure those clear. If you do find you need spacers, don't forget to switch to extended studs as well

That fender clearance will be a MUST. Up front I run -3.0 camber, liners flipped and fender pulled to get mine to fit. I'm only on Swift lowering springs as well and I still occasionally rub. I might have to try the longer bolt and washer trick as well if it will pass my class tech inspections without violating rules...
In the rear this will be a whole different story. Do you want to run a "square" setup? I had great success with a reverse stagger (225 front 195 rear.) I still had to majorly roll and pull the rear to clear the 15x7.5 +32 with the 195/50 15's, and again in the rear the dop on the Swift springs is barely 1-2 fingers lower then OEM... When fully loaded for a AutoX it still rubs

this will be for weekend and straight line driving, ive been daily this car for 2 years now with a comp stage 4 clutch, i have a rsx 5 speed with longer gears ill be instaling soon that has a quife lsd, i would have turbo it last year but went back to the drawing board and redid alot of plans, now will be running a precision 6266 turbo, my friend just dyno his car with same setup iam doing at 12psi and made 470hp, ill also be doing meth injection so i can see what a street trim fit will do in the 1/4 mile, i know there has been 10s passes made with a fit but not in a stock full interior chasis.

I know I'm not the only one who wants to see a dyno sheet, and time slips
15x8 +25 and 15x7.5 +32 with a 225 are both a good bit further out than a 7.5j +38 with a 235.
You've got the extra 5mm from the tire and the higher offset sucking it in further. A 3-5 mm spacer would not entirely make up the difference, but at least get the tire off the suspension.

I was using this calculator, Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com and I totally missed that it would not let me put a 225 45 on 15x9. It upped it to a 235 45 15. Comparing that to my setups is where I got the 0.6/16mm closer to suspension.
Looking at the 17x7.5 235 40 +38 in comparison to my 15x7.5 225 45 +32 , it is going to be 0.4/11mm closer than my setup, so it seems tight.
So, 17x7.5 235 40 +38 compared to OEM Sport alloys, 15x6 195 55 +55, is 0.1/3mm closser , meaning that you are dead on with needing at least 3mm to be at the same clearance as OEM.
I would still probably start with 5mm
does anyone know the brand name of those rims, I would like to try this setup as it looks aggressive and that's what I wana try, also will this setup work for the rear or will I need something else???
