Will 195/55r15 +45 work ? GE 2011
After a horrible phase1:
Some dodgy sellers sold me a +40 wheels instead of 45 and i think modified a buddy club n+ for GD to fit my GE. I am going to try once more.
Mind you it was jdmyard Sydney
Phase2:
I have now installed a set of eibach pro kits 1.2"F and 1.4"R
Ordered enkei pf01 17×7 +45 - eta 8weeks
I will use my existing 205/45r17 F1 eagle and maybe next is a bridgestone 195/45r17 potenza.
I have already removed and sold the buddy clubs. Here is my car:
Ride was harsh.
17x7et40 205/45 -camber buddy clubs:
17x7et40 205/45 eibach pro:
The eibachs have been good so far. Bounces which i dont mind but of course i rub the fender liner in the front at high speed on bumps. I do plan do buy better shocks later.
Enkei did have a 17×6.5 +48 that tempted me but the rear are so good at +40 and i am sure +45 will be safe at the rear and i want 17x7. I hope my front works
Any advice or words of wisedom ? Or things i shld be mindful about.
Ill post once my wheels arrive and have been fitted

So, i didnt like how those SC24 were rubbing. I swapped my oem 175/65 r15 +45 on there and i drove around this weekend. I cancelled the PF01, i just love it too much with the lighter skinnier wheels. Its stealthier and accelerate faster (which we all know). But with the eibachs on the 15s in sports mode at 4.5Revs at around 100km per hour i can feel the vtech kick in now and i can keep up easily on freeways and take off like a little bomb.
Case closed, i am keeping my oems. Here is a pic for conclusion, end of story.
One thing though, if someone can please tell me what are the ups and downs of me going 195/55 r15 tyres. I want sme widness and i want sme sports tyres and thats the size they come in mostly. The r003 or the dunlop direzza or F1 eagle. I measured and i see that i have around 150mm before hitting guards. 195 will increase by 100mm on each side and i will lose around 7mm sidewall. Anyone with those tyres lowered ? Or know someone who knows someone who has similar setup. Thanks in advance for responses.
