Thank You Ben give me the information to install the JDM Foot LIGHT

Here is couple step to install the Foot Light, Hope it helps you guys who want order it. I just give a few steps to you guys, because it is petty Plug and Play.

1. use a piece of cardboard or paper to draw the sharp of the light & the holder



2. Take off the undercover under the Glove Box & Wheel.

3. Put the cardboard or paper on the back of undercover



4. Drew two hole for the screw & light



5. than petty much follow Ben POST to plug in the wire



6. Turn on your KEY DONE

nice man I saw Ben's thread while back about it but I think he removed it.... I wonder if the civic interior lights r the same

 

actually, what I did is not perfectly, buz I didn't have good hand. The light was not exactly at the center!! But it is looking great when it light up

 

So, how are the lights hooked up (eg, do they come on when you open the doors/dome light or are they hooked into the parking lights?)

 

As What I said everything is just "Plug and Play". It does turn on when the door open and the headlight is on. When the door open the light is brighter than when you turn on the headlight. It will turn off when the door close about 5 sec. In addition, when you press the remote to lock/unlock (Sport Mode ONLY) then foot light will turn to!!

This is the foot light KIT, so you don;t have to cut any wire you just plug the wire in the fuse box and it ready to go!!!

thats pretty much the same thing for the canadian one, only the lights sit on the outside of the plastic and have a cover on them so you can switch out the light colors..

 

So where exactly are these LED located at? Got more pics? Maybe in daytime too?

 

A kid the other day had the same LED board in his Civic. But the LED's where white colored and bright as hell. Does AJ have the white ones?
