what is the status on this

and if it will work with the carbon fiber hoods i assume that
it doenst have much pressure on the rods cuz other wise if it was hard to close with them then it would risk damaging the carbon fiber

How much pressure will these have? I have seen quite a few ppl have these types on their CF hoods and the pressure broke the hood. (definately not the first or second time but over a short time the pressure broke.) Could you 100% say it wont cause the hood to break?

Alright guys, here is an update from AJ:

Hood Dampers are on order and should be arriving soon.

As for CF Hoods, Carryboy recommends using only one damper.

Awesome, I will have a go at them too. Hope this all turns out well, and I hope they raise my hood up higher than the ones I saw pictured. At least the same height as my current metal rod.
