Type One Racing :: Engine :: Fit/Jazz (GD3/4) :: T1R Engine Hood Damper - Honda Fit 07-08 GD3

Looks like $125 with the custom bracket.

Too 'spensive for my college pocket. I think I'd have more fun at a junkyard looking for a substitute.

Brackets are in, $125 for the hood damper kit. Seems expensive, but the new bracket is actually a JDM hood hinge that has mounting points for the hood damper! No drilling required!

Snow again? I thought the weather was getting better cause you put your Mugens on. Im def interested in the DIY and seeing how it looks and works. Like i said before i know its a quality product but for the money i just want to be sure before i get it. It is much appreciated as usual. Thanks again Illusive

I'm not getting it, under100$ without shipping was ok, almost 130...urgh...

that's 40 more than I was willing to spend.

got my retrofit headlights that took a lot already.

EDIT:
Will see how theDIY looks.. I'm tired of drilling/modifying my parts to make things fit.

I would have had one up last night, but I need to remove my front strut bar to remove that plastic piece. From what it looks like and what I've done so far, no drilling or modifying is needed. Will get that DIY done Saturday morning for everyone once the snow clears up a bit and warms up so I don't make my cold any worse!

Hi Guys,

Here's the updated pic of the finally product.

The new bracket (hinch) is a JDM Honda product and this is very costly so $90 is not happening but I will try and see if I can offer any special deals on them.

Thanks
Ben
