I believe next week they should be up for sale. Will advise as soon as I find out. I don't think he has any pics yet. Working on install manual.

but I have to drill??....

why can't it be like the other struts... where it attaches to where the hood connects... urgh.

I'll haev to buy them... they are the only ones around... since I don't know where to get the struts with the proper weight pumps.. or the mounts.

Yea the drilling part sucks but so far they are the only ones i can find. Im sure in time there will be some that are out that dont need drilling but i dont wanna wait till then. It cant be that hard to install these. Can it?

Stopped by A&J earlier today and the dampers are in....Ben is quite busy at the moment, so don't know when the 'official' release of these will be, but give the poor guy a chance....

nah, nothing about ben, all is good, as long as we get "please hold, I'm currently busy with another customer" at least I'm being acknowledged, at this point, I'm just bummed that I will have to be drilling into the mounts... and if it's like the kit I saw that you have to drill, it wont be going that high up... I may have to back out of this group buy, and suck it up, and go and break into some junk yard and steal their mounts.

Im not Ben but i can give you the answer none the less. They will work for the cf hood but only one is needed and from what it sounds there is some drilling that needs to be done. Not sure how much yet but it cant be that bad. Hope that helps. This is under the assumption that everything is the same as we all talked about earlier.

Yes it will work on with carbon hood.

OK let me give you guys some updates here.

The shipment is in and these dampers are manufacturered by Carry Boy Thailand.

The dampers comes in only one side and they are competable to stock hood and carbon hood. It requires to drill 2 holes to fit 10mm bolt and nuts and that will take about 5-10 mins.

Here's the pic of the product. Installed pics, I will post next week.

Thanks
Ben

Hi guys, I saw this in person today and it looks pretty beefy, so only one is needed for even a heavy stock hood. You will have to drill 2 holes into the arm that holds the hood up on the right side. I'm getting it installed on Monday so there will be installed pics up soon!!
