Talked to both George and Peter. Don't worry guys! The group buy is all set up and ready to go through, they just want to give everyone (even the guys that, unlike us, have lives and don't live on FitFreaks! LOL!) a chance to get in on the group buy. The code needed to get the group will be released on Friday. By next week I expect to be rolling with 2 sets of HID's in my Fit!

TunaDaMan I stopped reading some of the posts because of the "drama" I saw developing. I'm sorry for that.

Does it void Honda's warranty to install these?

I've never done any work on any of my cars. Would it be a bad idea to try to install these myself? I'd like to think I follow directions well but...

No, it should not void any warranty. The units plug and play into the existing connections so, worse case is you unplug it all and put the stock bulbs back in.

You will have no problems hooking them up. If you WERE to have any problems, I am sure we could help get you up and running in no time at all. I say go for it!

Sweet GB order placed! And thanks for the DIY. As far as removing the bumper, do any fasteners need to be replaced once removed, or they can all be reused?

My order is in, thanks all for organizing this group buy! Quick question about all the paranoia about touching the bulbs....I figured I would eliminate the issue and just wear some latex gloves or something for the install, and just wanted to be sure their wasn't a known issue with latex?

You shouldnt have any problems keeping your hands off the bulbs. I've installed a few sets of HIDs over the years and never came close to touching the bulb.

You can reuse the same fasteners.

Not exactly sure what I need.
But I've been told H11/8000k.
I want Hi/Lo's 8000k w/ fogs.
Is that correct?

For headlight go bi-xenon 8k and fogs I would never recommend to even go higher then 4300k...and the headlight use H4 bulbs and fogs light use H11
