I wanted to keep you guys updated with the progress.

So far John is going to do some tweaks and he will doing a final fitment on JSR's bumper this week. If it's a dead on fitment, he will start mass producing it for us.

The ETA on seeing these cf lip would be really soon. He will be able to make to 2~3 of the lip each week. As he makes them he will also be shipping each one that are completed.

The ETA for completing all 10 lips is roughly around 3~4 weeks from the time the final fitmenting is to his liking.

If there is anyone still interested in getting one, please let me know and we can make it happen for you.

I will keep you posted if I hear anything else.

Update:
I got my bumper back with the lip. It looks great. JDP needed to make a while new mold and new lip. He took pics of my car with his nice camera so you guys don't have to deal with my crappy phone pics. I'll post then up once he sends them to me this weekend.
Lip production will commence monday so shipments are coming soon.
Regarding the skirts, he wants to focus on completing this first batch order of the lips before putting much effort on the skirts.
He did ask though whether we really wanted CF skirts or fiberglass that we can paint.

JSR,
That sounds good and thanks for keeping us updated with your bumper.

For the side shirt, it really depends on the design. If you take a look at my earlier post, i would suggest the following. If you JDP makes a side shirt that flows through the entire side body, I would recommend it to be CF because it would blend in with the front CF lip. If JDP makes something small like the strakes (s2000 look alike), I would recommend that to be fiberglass to blend it to the car since it really a sectional piece.

If anybody have any other suggestion, please post your ideas down.

Just to clarify on the skirts, JDP thinks fiberglass would look better.

B-Blue - price is $275+ shipping which I believe is about $50 within the lower 48 states. The price info is earlier in the thread somewhere.

Honestly, looking at my car with the lip and picturing a skirt running the length of the side, CF would look a bit odd. While it would match the front lip, skirts aren't typically CF and still body colored even with CF lips. It wouldn't match the rear purge test of the car then. But it's hard to say for certain how it will look without it actually being on the car.
I'm not a fan of the s2k stakes. Doesn't add much to the car and looks a bit out of place to me. But it's up to the public consensus.

I meant to say the CF skirts wouldnt match the rest of the car or the rear. Auto spell correction sucks on android.

That can be true as well but if you go with JDP disffuser rear and the side skirt diffuser (If JDP makes it), it will look sweet.

That depends on the color of the fit as well. I have a black fit.
I leave it up to you guys to make the judgement.

Yeah we'll see what the general consensus is for the design and those that the consensus design isn't a perfect match to their expectations will decide if they can live with it.

Also to clarify for those with deposits, your deposit hours toward the price so it's $225+sh.

A rear valence would be interesting but not something I'd end up getting for myself. As usual, if theres enough interest, JDP would be willing to make it as he seems very willing to support our cars.

Oh and sorry for the constant posts, I can't edit my previous posts on the mobile version of the forum.

Thanks for the update.
I would like CF skirts, I do not want to have to pay a painter to match the color of my paint and paint them.

Wow , my car actually looks clean in the pics. In reality, it's super dirty. Once I get it washed, I'll take more pics. JDP needs to come back to buff my lip anyways to remove a rough area, so we'll have better pics soon, and of the while car to give you guys an idea how it looks complete.

Awesome!

Hey I have a new shipping address from the one I gave JDP when I first gave my deposit for the lip. Should I just email JDP my new info at their sales address or?

so is jdp gonna contact us once the lips are done? I'm in the middle of a move too. I take it that they will because they have to collect the rest of the funds.

He'll contact you when your lip is ready or a bit before so you can send the rest of the payment.
