Gauging: JDP Carbon front lip for Base GE8

Here's another pic I got late yesterday. Shows a bit more of the side angle. Doesn't stick out too far or too low, which I like. I think the lines of the lip combined with our base bumper look better than the sport bumper.
For the side skirts, we were talking about it being similar in thickness. The angles would flow from the front to match the front lip to the rear to match the rear bumper that slightly angles outward a bit. Overall, a simple side skirt that would accentuate the stock body lines and just add a bit of girth to the bottom of our cars.

I am seeing interest for the side shirt and I know we will try to push the idea to JDP engineering after we get the front lip completely done.
I am just going to generate a list of interest for the side shirt so we can be ready.

Yes, once the lip is done, I'll focus on the skirts and get pricing and further details.
Good interest in the skirts. A few more and it might be a go if the price is right, and I will work with JDP on that too.

i think its so awsome how you base guys finally get some fun from JDP now too. so how long before you guys thing there'll be a thread entitle "guaging JDP lip for 2012 fits."

The body styling hasn't change for 2012. It depends on what model you have (sport or base). JDP already created the cf lip for the sport model but for the base model, it is in production and will be completed in 2~3 weeks.

Okay, since I haven't heard of much update from JSR. I decided to call John at JDP myself. So far, he finish the molding and he is waiting for JSR to come by for a fitting test which will be done this Saturday.
Hopefully we will get an update (pictures) from JSR once he gets it on his car.

Sorry for the lateness. Works been killer and I don't have much time for forums.
I had the lip test fitted today. It looks great, but the fitment need a little tweaking. I hope I speak for everyone but I told him that I'd prefer to wait another week for a perfect fitting product, and that others would too. I took some pics but I've only got my phone so its hard to post pics. JDP took my while bumper with him this time so he can do the fitting.
If someone can send me their email, I can send you pics to post up.
